A project within Recycle For Veterans
Eco Warrior Project.
Lead, Connect, and Drive Real Change in your Community.
Take your service beyond your contract as a RFV Eco Warrior, lead cleanups, grow your network, and serve alongside Veterans who understand the mission.
The RFV Eco Warrior Project turns service into action by empowering veterans and active duty service members to lead in environmental stewardship, strengthen their communities, and inspire others through example.
We build relationships, build skills, and ultimately build better leaders by connecting service members to meaningful, purpose driven outreach.
Leadership.
As an RFV Eco Warrior, you’ll have the chance to lead environmental cleanups and other initiatives, giving you a platform to inspire change and make a tangible impact.
Community & Networking.
The RFV Eco Warrior Project connects you with a tight-knit network of veterans, active duty service members, and civilian allies committed to rebuilding community side by side, outside, and in service to something bigger than ourselves.
This is reintegration through action, not isolation.
Development.
The RFV Eco Warrior Project provides opportunities to build job-ready skills, from project management and event coordination to leadership and public speaking.
Purpose.
Join a community dedicated to making a difference. The RFV Eco Warrior Project provides a renewed sense of purpose as you protect the environment, uplift your community, and foster camaraderie with like-minded individuals.
How to Join.
Leadership roles within the program are held exclusively by Veterans and active-duty service members, ensuring it is guided by those who share a commitment to service, purpose, and uplifting our community.
1. Participate.
Volunteer at a cleanup and make an impact alongside Veterans, active-duty members, and community volunteers.
2. Dotted Line.
To qualify as an RFV Eco Warrior, you must be an active-duty service member, reservist, or a Veteran with an honorable discharge.
3. Enroll.
Join our Discord, select your local chapter, and receive your official EWP ID Card. This connects you to your leadership team, events, and ongoing stewardship opportunities.
4. Onboard.
Once you become an official RFV Eco Warrior, you’ll have the opportunity to join our community, where you can network, take on leadership roles, and engage in our governance.
Building Skills through Service.
Eco Warriors do more than lead cleanups. Through Recycle For Veterans programs, Eco Warriors build real world skills that translate beyond the beach, including leadership, communication, planning, and community outreach.
You’ll see Eco Warriors showing up as active leaders in their communities by attending local business events, surveying public lands, and meeting with community and government partners. These opportunities help Eco Warriors grow their network, represent the mission with confidence, and develop experience that supports personal and professional growth.
